Year 8 Basketball Team in tournament success
On the 15/11/2022 the OALP year 8 Basketball team played in their first ever basketball tournament at Bradford Forster Academy.
The boys played in two matches against Bingley Grammar School and Bradford Forster Academy. The boys represented OALP with impeccable behaviour which followed with the boys playing with a high intensity and taking the game to their first opponents Bingley Grammar School. OALP were victorious in the game and ran out 4-0 winners. Following on from this game the boys then went onto play against Bradford Forster Academy where the boys came into their own scoring early and taking control of the game with ease. The boys played at a high intensity all game and could have scored on every attack. The boys ran out 8-0 winners in the game and left the tournament as group leaders.
The boy’s attitude was fantastic, and it was great for the boys to showcase their basketball talents. The boys are back in action on 22/11/2022, as they play their second tournament the boys will look to add to their recent performance.
