Bradford Roma Community celebrate Mikuláš at OALP
Oasis Lister Park Hosts Roma Community Event.
Last Tuesday evening (6th December 2023) Bradford’s Roma Community were joined by Bradford’s wider community to celebrate Mikuláš (Saint Nicholas Day). This important cultural festival was hosted here at Oasis Academy Lister Park and was attended by over 240 people, including Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe. Danal Balaz from Connecting Roma said, “What really surprised a lot of Roma people was how much the wider community were interested. It was amazing to see people from other cultures getting involved; dancing and enjoying our food,”
