 At OALP we are striving to achieve our aim of; “Providing the best possible, education, care and support for all our young people.”

We believe having high expectations of all our young people is critical to their success and would like to remind all our families of the expectations around uniform and equipment. Which are detailed on the left-hand side. 

 

The bags below will be provided by the school for all students. The bag colour will correlate with the colour of your child’s school tie. Children MUST bring this bag to school everyday and may not use any other bag.

• Black blazer with academy badge
• Academy Tie – Colour depending on year group : 
  • Year 7 – Orange

• Plain black polishable shoes or black Trainers.
• School bag matching with colour of ties

 

Boys Uniform

• White shirt

Girls Uniform

• White shirt (with tie)

Jewellery & Personal Belongings

Jewellery is restricted to a watch and, for girls, one small stud earring in each ear. Facial piercings are not permitted.

Hairstyles

Students are not allowed to adopt any extreme hairstyles (the Principal's decision is final).

Equipment

We expect all students to bring a black pen, blue pen, pencil, ruler, rubber and coloured pencils. For maths, we recommend that all students have a protractor, compass and scientific calculator.
