Student Achievement

At Oasis Academy Lister Park we want our students to enjoy learning, make great progress and achieve exceptional outcomes. In order to do this we use a range of methods to determine what each individual student does well and develop the areas they need to improve upon.

We believe strongly in the celebration of achievement here at the academy. By boosting our young people in their successes and hard work, be that academically or through positive behaviour, we want them to feel confident that they are building the character and competence to thrive outside of the school corridors. 

Our lessons are planned carefully to take into account the strengths and the developmental areas of every student in order to enable them to progress in each subject. In addition to the assessment for learning that take place in class, we report formally to parents and carers throughout the year. 

Parent/Carer Partnerships

We value our partnerships with parents and carers and we are committed to feeding back how each child is getting on at school with us. Whether that is through parents' evenings, letters home or meetings held with your child's teachers or tutors, we want to share with you your children's successes and talents. We also pledge to update you on your child's development and sense of independence as they progress through the academy, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement within lessons.
